Manpower FINANCE PARIS is looking for its client, a player in the chemical, petrochemical, and mining industries, a Finance Manager (M/F)

Les missions

  • Strong Business Driver, working closely together with Local (Plant/ Country) Management teams and Divisional/ Global teams to improve business results
  • Manages in partnership with Divisional Finance, the finance and controlling resources to ensure the right people are at the right place; actively drives competency and business acumen development activities
  • Ensures compliance, completenss and timeliness of Statutory Financial Reportings
  • Ensures compliance, completenss and timeliness of Fiscal Reportings; actively embeds legislative updates
  • Actively drives fiscal& other opportunities that improve financial results, thorugh the local and/ or regional Shared Service Center teams
  • Bridges USGAAP to Statutory Results, and manages differences
  • Drives management reporting on his/her area
  • Drives forecast process in line with Financial Manual and in cooperation with Divisional Management
  • Drives risk mitigation activities (financial and when case/ operational)
  • Manages SOX requirements, Internal Audit, Business Governance, compliance with Financial Manual and Specific standards
  • Manages and ensures Cash Flow
Specific for multi-product line country
  • As key local management, ensures synergy and cooperation of finance and controlling teams at country level
  • Ensures synergy and cooperation of controlling teams between product lines (indirect reporting line)
  • Ensures standard process is maintained at country level for all accounting entries 

Le profil

Education
  • University degree – Bachelor’s degree in Finance 
Previous Experience
  • minimum 5 years work experience with proven success in a similar position in a multinational environment
Functional Competencies
  • Strong interpersonal skills requiring the ability to resolve conflicting situations
  • Strong problem solving, analytical, team building and decision-making skills.
  • Strong business acumen for effectively managing the processes in scope, covering multiple countries.
  • Process oriented mindset

  • Understand the challenges of the other functions
  • SAP, US GAAP, SOX
